The Facility sets on 120 acres. There are 4 different tracks. SX for the more advanced riders, ATV, TT, Woods trails and the Peewee track for the little guys. We have clean restrooms and showers for men and women. The cabins have 4 bunks,  color TV, and AC. There are RV hookups with power and water and a grey water dump station. There is also plenty of room for tents. There are fire pits throughout the camping facility. Parking for 1000s. The whole park is built on top of a sod farm so you park in grass. There is a bike wash . The SX track has a 40 rider concrete starting gate and rainbird sprinkler systems that can water any seperate section of the track,  at any time to keep the dust down. We have BBQ grilles and a pavilion with picnic tables that is great for birthdays or events.  This is an MX home away from home,  a family facility. There is a VERY STRICT RULE, 1st gear only in the parking, RV, picnic and cabin areas. One warning  only, the second time your told to leave.  There are several riding tracks here and no reason to place the little guys and girls at risk. The Facility is set up for families with young riders learning to ride and for advanced riders wanting to better their jumping skills. I urge anyone going to Loretta's to come to the track before going there. Most of the tracks that you must qualify at, for Loretta's, aren't set up anything like Lorettas. Loretta's is not about speed, it is about everything, jumping as well as overall endurance.  20 min plus 2 laps is a long time to hold on with the best riders in the Nation  wanting in front of yo  If you want to get ready for the indoors arena cross or supercross you'll love our SX track.  Whatever your getting ready for we have a track to get you in shape and most of all, rider support to help with anything your having trouble with. . I know most of you guys do a great job when you ride, race, or practice but every now and then we all slip and this cant be said enough.  I've been talking with several people and we need to all learn to ride safe and use our heads when we are on a crowded track with riders of all skill levels.  Here are a few things we all need to remember when we are out there grinning from ear to ear because things can change in a second.

Safe Practice Tips

1.  Never cut the track, always ride it as it is, dont cut the track and repeat sections over and over.  You will, I promise at some point cause an accident.  This happens. Don't Do It.

2.  Hold Your Line.  This might be the single most important thing you can do when riding or racing.  If you take off on the right hand side of a blind jump stay on the right hand side of the landing.  Faster riders depend on you to hold your line so they can go SAFELY around you.  Swirving on the track is just plain dumb, go straight and do your turning in the turns.

3.  Enter And Exit The Track Safely.  This is huge as well as riders typically just pull off the track without looking behind them and do it at the most unsafe parts of the track.  Lets say a faster rider is coming on your right, you decide to pull off the track to your right....BAM, you and he/she just hit the ground.  Look where you are going and enter the track in a safe fashion being very aware of who is coming (best to do it when no one is coming).  Last summer someone pulled on to the start straight at the top of the hill and a rider going as fast as you can hit him and it sounded like a car accident.  Again this happens atleast twice a month and could be eliminated if we all took the time to just ride to the designated exit and entry points on the track.

4.  Look Ahead On The Track.  Dont look straight down at your fender, look ahead and see whats happening in front of you...this will save you big time, and makes you a more prepared rider when bad things happen on the track.

5.  Go Easy Around The Little Guys.  Little guys go fast but sometimes they can be very unpredictable so use caution when you are approaching them and give them plenty of room.  A lot of times it's not even their fault, they have smaller wheels so the bumps that dont bother you affect them in a huge way and can cause them to change their direction at a moments notice.

6.  It's Practice NOT A Race.  No need to bump people, to slam people or block pass, it's just practice and you dont get trophies - so just get around the slower rider in the safest fashion and live to do it all over again next weekend.

7.  If You Are Tired Take A Break.  Lots of times crashes occur because we ride past our bodies limits.  Take five, stay hydrated and eat something and just relax.  Again the goal here is to live to tell the tale.

Well those are just a few obvious tips I thought of after I got yet another call of a rider injuring himself when it could have been avoided all together.  Ride safe and ride smart and you'll ride for a long time.

Cooper won all three of his classes at Ponca. He took a win in one of his classes at Loretta's and could have taken two but got tangled up with a lapped down rider because there was NO flager. Then he got landed on by two more riders but was able to finish in 3rd to give him a second place finish in that class.Rob Harris was there taking pictures for Racer X and took some great shots of Cooper. He said everyone knew Cooper was the Man.Cooper is heading to Steel City tomorrow .He looked great today at practice.I will post his finishes as soon as his moto's are over.We wish him the best.Steel City was always my Son's favorite track.
